ITF Singer Jhunni Kumari Siwan

My name is Jhunni Kumari and I belong to Siwan district of Bihar, but my family shifted to Motihari. I have always been interested in music but my family cannot afford Because it was a poor family. But since childhood I’m interested in music.
Though, I started singing from my school itself, was made fun off by my near relatives and classmates since I come from an underprivileged background.
In my house, everyone used to think only about the daughter for marriage. Everyone thought that the daughter only has to take care of the house and children.
Mom has somehow raised us 4 children. My mother herself raised us by working in other people’s houses, that is why mother did not support me in this earlier.
No one supported my singing and everyone felt that the girl would not do this. The condition of my house was very bad because my father also died in my childhood so no one was earning in the house.
Then gradually mummy’s viewpoint changed or she started supporting me. My elder sister also supported me a lot. Then I improved my singing.
