ITF Singer Gautam Bhandari Samastipur Bihar
Hi, my name is Gautam Bhandari and I’m from a small village in Samastipur (Bihar) called Sobhan (Pirakhpur). My house is on the border of Sobhan and Pirakhpur, so in a way, I’m a resident of both villages. I started humming songs when I was in 2nd grade. This talent was passed down to me from my family, as everyone at home sings and plays music. Besides singing, I also have a passion for dance, rap, and acting, but singing is what I love the most.
When I was in 10th grade, I joined singing classes that were 2-3km away from my house. But they weren’t teaching music properly, so I quit after 2-3 months. I went to other teachers as well, but it was the same story, so I left those classes too. My family’s financial situation wasn’t such that they could afford to send me to another city for my studies. So, I went to my aunt’s place in Rajasthan and joined classes while working in a company. However, the teaching there wasn’t good either, and the big institutes were too expensive for me to afford.
I was very frustrated. On top of that, the people around me—relatives and even younger kids—would make fun of me, saying, “What are you doing? You can’t even find a decent teacher,” and they would laugh. But I never felt bad about it because I always thought it wasn’t their fault. They couldn’t believe that a kid from their neighborhood could make it to TV.
That’s why I’m here, on the ITF stage, to prove myself—to show that I can also make it on TV and achieve something big in singing. Thanks to India’s Talent Fight for giving me this opportunity to prove myself.
