Hello, my name is Kirti Gaur… I’m from Amritsar city. I’m 21 years old. In school time I have participated in many functions and competitions.. even have also participated in national level competition… I have done my bachelor’s and master’s both in music. In college I have done many competitions and youth festivals… I have been taking classes for music since 5-6 years… My Ustad Guru Ashok Sahni Ji has always encouraged me in music…
For me, music is not just a talent, it’s my lifeline. I grew up in a simple family who always supported me for singing… I always believed that if you love something with all your heart, you’ll find a way. As a child, I used to sing at school functions and small community programs. People around me often said, Singing won’t take you any where focus on studies or a safe career That hurt, but it also gave me more courage. I used to practice recording songs on my phone, teaching myself from resources and from teachers of my school.
There were struggles sometimes emotional. But the one thing that kept me going was my family and the feeling I get when I sing. Music became my strength during tough times, my escape, and also my biggest dream.
One turning point was when I have participated in Antakshari at zee punjabi channel… And that platform has given me more confidence for signing..!! And encourageed me a lot small local competition, and for the first time, the audience stood up for my performance. That gave me the belief that I should never give up.
Standing here on this stage, I’m not just here to sing. I’m here to tell everyone that dreams are possible, no matter where you come from. If you believe in yourself and never give up, your voice will be heard.
Today, I want to prove that no dream is too big if you’re ready to work hard. For me, music is not just a hobby-it’s my way of expressing life, emotions, and hope. Music is my soul, and this stage is the biggest step in my journey This stage is a chance to take one more step closer to my dream
