Dev Singh Gurjar is an Indian literary figure and National Poet known for his powerful poetry and social awareness. He hails from the small village of Tootiyakhedi in Nagda Tehsil, Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh. Raised in a humble rural environment with limited resources but big dreams, Dev Singh developed a deep connection with literature and poetry from an early age.
He completed his primary education in his village and later moved to Nagda for higher secondary studies. Alongside his education, he nurtured a strong passion for writing poetry and participating in Kavi Sammelans (poetry gatherings). Over time, expressing the emotions and realities of society through words became his true calling.
Dev Singh Gurjar has performed poetry on several prestigious platforms including Doordarshan, DD Madhya Pradesh, Dainik Bhaskar News TV, Sadhna News, and FM radio stations. His literary works have also been published in newspapers, magazines, and collaborative anthologies such as “Sun Ae Zindagi” and “Nai Srishti Nirman Karen.” Throughout his journey, he has received numerous awards and recognitions across India for his contribution to literature and social awareness.
Being deeply connected to rural life, Dev Singh closely witnessed the struggles of farmers. These experiences shaped his life’s mission and motivated him to work for the welfare of the farming community. With dedication, hard work, and a strong spirit of social service, he stepped into public leadership. Today, he serves as the State President of Madhya Pradesh in the Bharatiya Kisan Union Manch, working actively to support farmers and people in need.
According to Dev Singh Gurjar, reaching this stage from a small village was not easy. He faced many challenges along the way, but his self-belief, family support, and blessings from society helped him overcome every obstacle. He strongly believes that no dream is impossible when determination is strong.
Currently, Dev Singh Gurjar is bringing his poetic talent to a larger audience by showcasing his skills on the India’s Talent Fight TV Reality Show. Through this platform, he hopes to share his poetry with the world and fulfill his lifelong dreams. A self-taught poet with a deep love for literature since childhood, Dev Singh is highly optimistic about this opportunity and is determined to give his best.
