ITF Dancer Drishti Kumari Mahendergarh

My name is Drishti Kumari, a little girl from the small town of Mahendergarh in Haryana. I am only eleven, but within me lives a fire that refuses to be hidden—the fire of dance.
For four years, I have trained under the guidance of my greatest inspiration, Monika Bhardwaj Ma’am. People fondly call me “Chhota Packet, Bada Dhamaka,” because though I am small, my passion is boundless.
I have chosen to perform Haryanvi folk dance, not just as a hobby, but as a mission—to carry forward the heartbeat of my culture, to make sure that the traditions of Haryana never fade away.
Very soon, I will step onto the grand stage of ITF, and there I will let the world see what dance means to me. This moment fills my heart with joy, because I come from a city where dance is rarely encouraged, where people hesitate to support it.
But I am here to change that.
I want to prove that dance is not just movement—it is art, it is emotion, it is life itself. And through every step I take, I will make sure the world remembers that truth.
