LATA SHABNAM POET RAJASTHAN OTHER
I,Lata kiran "Shabnam",was born in a Buddhist family of a small village Seoni,near district balaghat(M.P.). My father was a school headmaster and mother was a housewife.we are six sisters and I am the 4th one.I was very interested towards singing in my childhood so my father used to incourage me to sing in every school program. Since the age of four,I started singing and the whole school appreciated me.Everybody used to say that my voice is beautiful. I never learnt singing but I was quite good at it.I was married at a young age of 20 to a boy of my village. His name is Purushottam Rangare. After 5 years of marriage,he cleared ssc exam and became stenographer in post office. After marriage,I left my singing habit due to family responsibilities but I had the passion so I moved on with my husband and children to balaghat city.There I got the opportunity to sing in some social and cultural programmes.some poets were sitting there and they noticed something special in me.so they invited me to perform in "kavi sammelan".I started performing and gradually became poetess of big stages.I was then performing all over India.As the time passed,it was very difficult for me to travel all over the india and parenting my three children simultaneously but my husband and children supported me every time.my husband told me "though you are from a small village family but you have every right to conquer the world with your voice".My family supported me in every aspect.
I have performed in almost 2000 big stages.I was invited by Anamika Amber ji for an episode of Kavi Yuddh in zee news.Got the opportunity by shri shailesh lodha ji to perform in "Bahut Khoob" programme of dabangg channel.I performed several times in various radio channels.I got several prestigious awards throughout my currier.After becoming grandparent I have got so much responsibilities and it becomes very hard to get time to do poetry on every stages but I try my best to go to every invitation.
Talent india fight is a great opportunity for everyone to shine,that's why I gave the audition. I never thought that a small village girl who worked in farms and struggled her whole life,will be able to select in a big stage like this.I am very happy and confident that I will be able to establish my poetry on the stage of talent india fight.
