Abhijeet, son of Shri Ram Dhan, is an Indian singer and television reality show contestant known for his participation in India’s Talent Fight. Originally from Patiala, Punjab, Abhijeet was born in Rohtak, Haryana. With a rich musical lineage and training, he represents a blend of classical heritage and contemporary performance in the Indian music scene.
Early Life and Background
Abhijeet was born in Rohtak, Haryana, into a culturally diverse family. His father hails from Haryana and his mother from Punjab, which has given him fluency in Haryanvi, Punjabi, Hindi, and English, with Punjabi and Hindi being his strongest languages.
In 2006, his family settled in Patiala, Punjab, which played a pivotal role in shaping his musical journey. Abhijeet is a fourth-generation singer in his family, carrying forward a deep-rooted tradition of music. His great-grandfather, grandfather, and uncle (taau ji) were all accomplished singers, making music an intrinsic part of his upbringing.
Musical Training
Abhijeet received formal training in music under the guidance of Dr. Alankar Singh, Head of the Department of Music at Punjabi University, Patiala. This academic foundation has further refined his vocal skills and stage performance.
