ITF Singer Ananya kulshrestha

I am Ananya Kulshrestha, a simple girl belong to a middle class family. My age is 13 years and I am from Vadodara, Gujarat. My both parents are working, and they are the only one who encourage and support me the best to achieve my ambition.

Music has been my passion since I was little. Whenever I used to hear any song on TV I start humming and singing with it. I belong to a non-musical family, so it was a challenge for me to get right guidance at right time. When I was 6, my parents decided to put me in music classes. Since then, I started waking up early to do riyaaz everyday. I started with light vocal music training, and dedicated 4 to 5 years to that. Then I felt that I should start learning classical music as it was really important to improve my vocals. So, I moved towards classical training and learning since last 1 year. At the beginning it was very complex for me, I got frustrated, I thought I will not be able to do it but my guru and my parents were always there by my side to guide me.

Apart from school time, I spend most of my time in learning new songs and musical instruments like piano and guitar, practicing high notes, and listening music.

Singing is everything to me. It’s a source of joy and emotions. If I don’t sing, it feels like something is missing in my life, I feel incomplete without it.

Shreya Ghoshal is an icon for me. My dream is to be a bollywood playback singer like her and make my parents proud.

Thanks to India’s Talent Fight show for providing such an amazing and competitive platform to showcase and further enhance my talent. When I got selected for the TV round, it was one of the golden moments of my life. This show is my big chance. I want to prove that the hard work pays off, even without certain advantages.
