ITF Singer Debasish Das kumarghat

Debasish Das is an emerging Indian singer from Jagannathpur village, Kumarghat, in Unakoti district of Tripura. He is the son of Late Ranjit Das and comes from a humble and financially struggling family. Since childhood, Debasish had two dreams — to become an Indian Army soldier or a singer. Although he tried to join the Army, circumstances did not allow him to achieve that goal.
In 2023, he decided to seriously pursue his passion for music. Without any formal training or financial support, Debasish taught himself singing by learning from songs on his mobile phone. He often requested local orchestra groups in his village for a chance to perform, and gradually people started recognizing his talent.
Later, while working in Maharashtra, he got an opportunity to perform at an annual function in Mumbai where the audience appreciated his singing. This motivated him to create his own music. He wrote and recorded his first song in his native language titled “Azibone Kauke R Bhalo Basbo Na” and later recorded a Hindi song “Mere Diki Deheliz Ko Abna Koi Kinara.” Along with original songs, he has also recorded several cover songs.
Debasish’s journey reached a new milestone when he discovered the audition link of India’s Talent Fight TV Reality Show on Instagram. He participated in the auditions and was successfully selected among the Top 50 contestants. Today, Debasish Das continues his musical journey with dedication, representing his dream as a rising singer from Kumarghat, Tripura.
