Firoz khan was initiated into vocal music from an early age when he was 7 years old, he started his training of vocal music under (Late) Ustad Siddiqui Ahmed Khan Sahab and (Late) Ustad Ghulam Sabir Khan Sahab of Moradabad Gharana, they both were well known maestro of the Sarangi and Indian classical music ..
A strict disciplinarian of his Guru’s insisted on rigorous voice training (swar sadhna) from an early age , focusing on perfecting individual notes for hours ..
Despite the initial reluctance and difficulty, this disciplined training profoundly influenced his singing style .
