ITF Singer Javed Suhana Thane Mumbai

Javed Suhana was born in Mumbai in the year 1986. He spent much of his childhood with his grandparents from the age of 8 (since 1992), as his school was located near their residence. He received his early education up to the 4th grade at a municipal school, and later completed his schooling from a private school in Thane.
Though an average student academically, Javed showed a deep interest in music and sports from an early age.
Musical Journey
Javed began his musical journey at the age of 10. He started by learning to play instruments like the banjo and drums. At the time, his father was an auto-rickshaw driver, and his mother was a homemaker. He lived with his grandparents in a small 10×10 room between 1992 and 2006.
His grandfather was a passionate fan of legendary Indian singers Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar, and would often sing their songs at home. This created a musical atmosphere in the household that had a strong influence on Javed. His mother also consistently encouraged him to sing. He would often sing among friends, though he lacked the confidence to perform on stage in those early years.
Formal Training and Career
In 2007, while pursuing graduation, Javed bought his first karaoke machine during a time when karaoke was gaining popularity in India. He balanced a demanding schedule—working night shifts, attending college in the morning, and taking classes in the evening—while dedicating his remaining time to learning music on his own.
Encouraged by his family, Javed eventually pursued formal training in music. In 2014, he began his classical music training under his first guru, Shri Santosh Chavan, and later studied for a year at Ajivasan Music Academy, founded by Padma Shri Suresh Wadkar.
Over the years, Javed has participated in numerous musical shows and competitions, honing his craft and building his presence in the music community.
