Kaushal Kishore is an Indian singer, actor, and performer from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. He rose to national recognition through his selection in the reality television show India’s Talent Fight. Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Kaushal’s tryst with music began at a very young age. He first stepped onto the stage to sing when he was in Grade 5, encouraged and supported by his school teacher, Meena Agrawal. She not only motivated him but also sponsored his participation in a music competition — which he went on to win. This victory laid the foundation for his musical aspirations.
As a student in Grade 10, Kaushal won the prestigious Surtarang National Talent Hunt singing competition at the national level, marking a major milestone in his early career.
Family and Musical Training
Kaushal hails from a musically inclined family. His father, who also a talented singer, played a significant role in nurturing and guiding his musical journey. With a desire to understand music in greater depth, Kaushal pursued a formal education in music alongside his graduation. He completed the Prabhakar course (a certified degree in Indian classical music), during which he had the opportunity to learn from the highly respected late Shri A. R. Tadke Ji.
Acting and Film Career
Alongside music, Kaushal also developed a keen interest in acting. He was active in theatre for several years, which refined his stage presence and dramatic skills. His experience in theatre eventually led him to Bollywood, where he portrayed the role of a journalist in the critically acclaimed film Mukkabaaz, sharing screen space with renowned actor Jimmy Shergill.
Playback Singing and Devotional Music
Kaushal’s true passion has always been playback singing. This passion connected him with Delhi-based music label Sonotek Chanda Cassettes, where he lent his voice to several devotional music albums, earning him recognition in the devotional music space.
India’s Talent Fight Journey
Kaushal came across the India’s Talent Fight audition announcement on Instagram and immediately decided to participate. His talent and dedication earned him a place in the Mega Auditions, where he was selected by the show’s esteemed panel of judges.
