ITF SINGER RISHAB RAJ GAYA BIHAR

Being born in a small village, Barachatti, although thought to be the fleeting hobby of a young child, my journey with the performing arts started.
I am, and for the most part of my life, have been self taught, only receiving formal training in Hindustani Classical Music since the year 2017 in a music tuition class in the City of Gaya which I attended for a month.
This was the true start of my journey with music, a turning point in my life, a period from which I started to devote my entire being to music.
It was also in the city of Gaya where I had a proper chance to perform and expand my horizons by performing in cafes and events, I did all of this while still attending school, in secret from my then unsupportive family.
In my family’s stead, it was my teachers and peers that supported my endeavors and pushed me to pursue my dreams, and although my family came around, it was much later than when I had wished them to.
Now I stand here in the bedazzled stage of the ITF, in front of the esteemed judges, day in and day out, watching you all perceive the culmination of my efforts and skills and their worth.
This has been Rishab Raj, Hopeful for the future.
