Venkata N Subrahmanyam is an inspiring Indian singer and former English teacher from Belgaum, known for his deep passion for classic melodies and timeless songs. At the age of 66, he proved that passion and dedication have no age limit by earning recognition as a contestant on the popular TV reality platform India’s Talent Fight.
Born and raised with a love for music, Venkata N Subrahmanyam developed his singing talent naturally during his childhood. His admiration for legendary singers like Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, and Mukesh deeply influenced his musical style. He especially enjoys singing classic Hindi songs, appreciating their melodious compositions and emotional depth.
Although he did not receive formal training during his early years, his dedication to music never faded. Over time, he continued improving his skills through consistent practice and later joined music classes to learn harmonium and vocal techniques. His performances often reflect the charm and nostalgia of golden-era songs.
Venkata first realized the appreciation for his voice during his school days when he performed the song “Chalte Chalte Mere Yeh Geet Yaad Rakhna”, originally sung by Kishore Kumar, at a school annual function. The performance received wide praise and encouraged him to pursue singing with greater passion.
Apart from live performances, Venkata also shared his musical talent on social media platforms such as Smule and StarMaker, where he regularly uploaded songs and connected with music lovers. Several of his songs have also been recorded in professional studios in Goa and Hubli.
His dedication led him to participate in the Mega Audition of India’s Talent Fight, where he performed confidently and impressed the judges. Competing among more than 1000 contestants, he successfully secured a place in the Top 50, qualifying for the TV Round of the show. This achievement marked a proud milestone in his musical journey and demonstrated that determination and passion can turn dreams into reality at any stage of life.
