Alina Basumatary is a passionate young dancer from Kokrajhar, Assam, proudly representing the Bodo community with grace, dedication, and talent. Known for her deep love for dance since the age of four, Alina’s journey is a true story of perseverance, hard work, and unwavering self-belief.
From her early childhood, Alina discovered her passion for dance and began learning Contemporary dance as her first style. Over time, her curiosity and dedication inspired her to explore multiple dance forms, constantly improving her skills and artistic expression. Dance has always been more than just a hobby for Alina—it is her passion, happiness, and way of life.
At just seven years old, Alina took her first big step toward national recognition by auditioning online for the popular dance reality show Super Dancer. Although she was not selected, this experience became a turning point in her life. Instead of giving up, she chose to work even harder, dedicating herself fully to dance training and performance.
Her determination soon brought success, as she began winning various local dance competitions and gaining recognition for her exceptional talent. With growing confidence and experience, Alina decided to pursue larger platforms once again. Her persistence paid off when she successfully auditioned for India’s Talent Fight, one of India’s major TV reality shows, marking a significant milestone in her career.
Alina’s journey has been strongly supported by her loving family, especially her mother, who has remained her biggest source of strength and encouragement. Her mother’s faith in her dreams continues to inspire Alina to aim higher and work harder every day.
Today, Alina Basumatary believes this is only the beginning of her journey. She aspires to perform across different states and countries, proudly representing Assam and India on global stages.
