Dancer Ravi sikar
Hi everyone my name is Ravi I am from Sikar Rajasthan
has always been my passion but being a boy from rural community it was not easy for me to become a finalist of such big show but i had to make it happen. As my mother passed away last year after getting diagnosed with brain strock in 2022 and brain Hamerage in 2023 and then she ended up passing away . Why I made you know this because a mother is the whole world for a child but i lost my world. I was totally broken but It was her dream to see me as a dancer , As a choreographer and that’s what made me here. From the very beginning I was not allowed to dance so i used to practice by myself As I am an untrained dancer. Also i used to hide myself whenever I dance because of family prohibitions. I used to perform in my school functions.my teacher was so supportive they always made me feel that i have something to show, I have something to be proud of!!! they always used to say me ‘Best kalakar Ravi’.My idol is vartika jha i used to follow her and still following her for so long. it’s my dream to meet her one day! People used to bully me as my style is bellypop and when it comes to bellydance people think that it is a female dance form and itself have a faminine grace and it’s shameful when a man does this form. But believe me that faminine grace is somewhere my superpower and my extra point. I’m so thankful to my mother that she blessed me with such grace! Also my family is supporting me now..not because of it’s my dream but because of it’s my mother’s dream as they love her a lot! He always says this to me ‘you have to make your mother proud you have to prove that you’re the son of that brave lady by not giving upon your dreams’!!! Glad to say that i have some well wishers and they’re supporting me and want me to be the master of my capacities! Thank you ITF family for such opportunity we will try to make the show super hit and will bring the house down with our Christmatick and energetic performances!
