Vani was born in Assandh, located in the Karnal district of Haryana, India. Shortly after her birth, she was brought to her maternal home in Safidon (सर्प दमन), a town in Jind district, where she was raised in the village of Singhpura.
Her father serves in the Indian Army, though he is not currently living with the family. Vani’s mother is a homemaker who supports the family by working as a tailor. Vani has drawn strength and inspiration from the women in her life—particularly her mother, Mrs. Savita Rani, and her late grandmother, Smt. Birmi Devi (nani), both of whom have played an important role in her upbringing.
