Avdhesh Kumar Yadav, known as AK Rao 999, is an emerging rapper from Sarlahi, Nepal. Coming from a middle-class farming family, his journey hasn’t been easy. Although his parents worked hard to educate him, he couldn’t focus on studies and lacked direction in school.
From childhood, he had a strong passion for music and participated in singing competitions. His real journey began in December 2021, when he wrote his first song and stepped into hip-hop—becoming one of the first rappers from his area, where there was almost no rap culture.
Due to lack of support and struggles, he stayed away from music for nearly three years and even faced depression. At one point, he gave up on his dreams and started working with a sewing machine to survive. But deep inside, he knew he couldn’t leave music forever.
With renewed determination, he moved to Rajasthan and started chasing his dream again. His life changed when he got selected in the India’s Talent Fight TV Reality Show, proving that hard work and belief can turn dreams into reality.
